SLIDELUCK Staten Island, NY:
Over the summer I participated in my first SLIDELUCK event at the Alice Austen House in Staten Island. Women’s Work, curated by LaToya Ruby Frazier and Amy Pereira, was inspired by the life and work of Austen and explored the current state of women’s lives and interests around the world. I was honored to have been selected to show images from my series Suburban Nights.
Griffin Museum of Photography's 20th Juried Exhibition:
I'm extremely happy to have work on display as part of The Griffin Museum of Photography's Peter Urban Legacy 20th Annual Juried Exhibition. Juror, Aline Smithson has chosen a wonderful, thought-provoking selection of work to be included in the exhibit which runs from July 10-August 31, 2014. Ivan, from my series Men At Night, is part of the exhibit's virtual gallery.
ValleyArts Inaugural Juried Exhibition:
Open Orange, the inaugural exhibition held in The ValleyArts district of Orange, NJ has selected three of my images from Suburban Nights to be included on display at the Firehouse Gallery from May 9 - June 8, 2014. The panel of nationally recognized jurors included Antonio Sergio Bessa, director of curatorial and educational programs at the Bronx Museum, Deidre Harris-Kelley, co-director of the Romare Bearden Foundation, and Naima J. Keith, the assistant curator of the Studio Museum of Harlem.
I am honored to have been awarded Best of Show in this exhibit as the quality and diversity of work on display by fellow artists from the NY/NJ area was astounding. Although I was unable to attend the opening reception due to surgery the day before, I will surely be present for the opening of my solo exhibition to be held there in October 2014!

Palette, Salisbury University Art Galleries, Salisbury Maryland: January 29- February 21: A juried food art exhibit and tasting event (February 3rd 5-7pm) “Internationally renowned chefs and artist alike have used food to celebrate life within their paintings, sculptures and menus. The tasting event is a one-night-only event, with proceeds funding the local chefs and the SU Art Galleries."

Mass Audubon Society - Unique In Nature Exhibition:
I'm happy to have three works from my series SKIN on display in MA at the Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary from April 4- June 11, 2013. The juried exhibit has been thoughtfully curated by Jan Nareski Goba and features work from 10 artists working in varied media. The pieces on display reveal tremendous insight into the beauty, complexity, and simplicity of nature.
Perkins Center for the Arts - Photography 32 Juried Exhibition:
Two images from my series Suburban Nights will be on display in Moorestown, NJ from January 27 - March 3, 2013. Peak (on right) was awarded a Juror's Choice award by Genevieve Coutroubis, photographer and Director of the CFEVA. The Center for Emerging Visual Artists is a regional community arts program based out of Philadelphia that works towards making the art careers of emerging artists visible, viable, and successful. There was a lot of amazing work at the opening from talented photographers, and I'm quite grateful to have been included.
